Birmingham new hospitals project - £586m

We were appointed by Balfour Beatty to deliver the full range of commercial management functions in relation to all building services and specialist major medical equipment on this important and major hospital project. This was a PPP /PFI project that was very complex, challenging and rewarding to all involved. We were appointed at preferred bidder stage and our services extended beyond construction into the commercial management of the concession period on behalf of our client. 

RSPCA INTERNATIONAL Head Quaters; horsham - Value £25m

We were appointed to deliver the full range of commercial management functions on behalf of the Building Services Subcontractor EMCOR Drake & Scull. The project was located in Horsham; West Sussex, UK.

British airways world cargo centre; heathrow; london - Value $240m

We were appointed to provide assistance to the Building Services providers that comprised a un-incorporated Joint Venture between Sulza Infra (UK) Limited and Kvaerner Rashleigh Phipps (SKRP). This project was a very high profile project, delivered at a time of transition for British Airways who proved to be a very demanding and knowledgeable client. Time was non-negotiable so programme was king. 

Credit suisse refurbishment; london

We were appointed to identify, prepare, evaluate variation claims on behalf of the mechanical and electrical services Subcontractor MITIE Engineering Limited. With selected floors and plant rooms subject to refurbishment there were many unforeseen risks that were identified and if they were not a contratural risk to MITIE we valued and prepared claim documentation in a timely manner as per the contract notice requirements. This protected our clients profit margin and enabled the engineering team to focus on delivery of this programme driven project that was delivered in phases to enable Credit Suisse to remain fully operational whilst the re-furbishment was performed. 

Millenium seedbank project; wakehurst place - value £90M

We were appointed to provide the full range of commercial management functions on this project for the Building Services provider EMCOR Drake & Scull. With the main contractor becoming insolvent during the delivery of this project our services were extended to include Claims Management, Dispute Avoidance and Dispute Resolution functions on behalf EMCOR Drake & Scull. This was particularly challenging given it was a millennium project, the insolvency occurred close to completion (and the New Year!). It was high profile event  and under the public eye. However, as a result of our direct negotiations with the ultimate client (Kew Botanical Gardens) we were able to negotiate terms to enable completion and opening on time to the mutual satisfaction of all involved.

Perth childrens hospital; western AUSTRALIA - Value $1.2b

We were appointed to perform the full range of commercial management functions in relation to all of the Building Services systems on behalf of the Principal Contractor, John Holland PTY Limited. This was a management contract and our services were very much client facing with regular procurement presentations, recommendations and claims being delivered on behalf of John Holland Pty Ltd to the Sate of Western Australia.

SUNSHINE COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL; QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA - Value $1.8b

We were appointed to perform the full range of commercial management functions in relation to all of the Building Services systems on behalf of the Principal Contractor, Lendlease Building Pty Ltd. Our obligations are ongoing on this complex and prestigious project and just recently our services have been extended to include claims management, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution activities.

Claridges hotel refurbishment; london

We were appointed to identify, prepare and evaluate variation claims on behalf of the mechanical services Subcontractor MITIE Engineering Limited. With 180 rooms, suites, penthouses and all front of house areas subject to the refurbishment there were many unforeseen risks coupled with extensive client changes. These issues were identified in a timely manner and converted to claims in accordance with the contract notification requirements. This protected our clients profit margin and enabled the engineering team to focus on delivery of this extremely complex project that was delivered in phases to enable this high profile hotel to remain operational whilst the re-furbishment was performed. 

Bull ring shopping centre; birmingham - value £530m

We were appointed to perform the full range of commercial management functions in relation to all of the Building Services systems on behalf of the Building Services provider EMCOR Drake & Scull Limited. This was a major inner city regeneration project that was subject to ongoing development and client change. Despite the challenges and late changes this was a highly successful project in every respect. A true testament to all involved. We are very proud to have been part of this landmark project. 

Telehouse Docklands Data Centre; London - Value £75m

We were appointed to deliver the full range of commercial management functions on behalf of the Building Services Subcontractor FW Cook Limited. The project was highly demanding, not least because at the time of construction data centers of this size and nature were in their infancy and therefore we needed to procure effectively and innovatively . This was a fast track, design & build project located in the Docklands; London, UK.
